David Furchgott passed along a nice article about our family member Robert Furchgott, who shared the Nobel Prize for Physiology in 1998 with two collegues “for their discoveries concerning nitric oxide as a signaling molecule in the cardiovascular system”.

On August 19, 2023, we lost our oldest family matriarch, Jeanne Pinkerson Dreyfoos, at the age of 101. Below are her obituary and a link to some charming notes and anecdotes that her son Dale shared with me. Also, I've attached a picture from our reunion slideshow showing Jeanne in her (much) younger days.
